Pillsbury Wine Company & Vineyard

The Pillsbury Wine Company creates handcrafted wines using sustainable farming methods. Recognized for their regional flavor and exceptional quality, the wines have won numerous gold medals and even a double gold award at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Wine enthusiasts can try the company’s award-winning wines at their tasting rooms in Cottonwood and Willcox and at restaurants throughout the state or pick up a bottle at one of the many grocery stores where it is stocked. Zarpara Vineyard

Weekends were made for wine tasting at the Zarpara Vineyard. This privately owned winery is a labor of love for husband-and-wife team Rhona MacMillan and Mark Jorve, who open the doors to their tasting room on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Their tastings include a souvenir glass, or guests can bring a glass from any Willcox Wine Country venue and drink at a discount.

Their Botella Club, Caso Club, and Barril Club member-ships offer varying levels of perks from complimentary tastings to special event invitations and early access to new releases.

Flying Leap Vineyards & Distillery

This artisan winery and distillery was founded in 2010 by a trio of Air Force veterans as a small business venture. Little did they know that their small-scale farming operation would turn into a full-blown production and distribution company for premium wine and spirits.

Today, Flying Leap has wine tasting rooms at six locations across Arizona’s wine region (with a seventh opening in early 2019 in Sedona) and a tasting room for distilled spirits in Elgin. Hours of the tasting rooms vary by location and tours of their vineyard at Kansas Settlement in Willcox are available by ap-pointment only.

Dos Cabezas WineWorks

Dos Cabezas WineWorks has been a southern Arizona institution since 1995. Today, the Bos-tock family and their experienced team own and manage two vineyards that produce some of the finest red and white wines in the area. Club members receive quarterly shipments of 3, 6, or 12 bottles of wine sourced directly from the Cimarron and Pronghorn Vineyards. Their Sonoita tasting room is only a short drive from Phoenix and Tucson and is open Thursdays through Sun-days. Adjacent to the tasting room are two southwestern-style casitas for guests who just can’t get enough of this casual winery and their distinctive flavors.

Carlson Creek Vineyard, Scottsdale Tasting Room

In the heart of Scottsdale’s arts and entertainment district, this tasting room is popular with area wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs from all over the state. The newer of two tasting rooms sup-plied by Carlson Creek Vineyard, the Scottsdale location has comfortable bar and bistro seating for their regular customers as well as an exclusive tasting area for members of the Carlson Creek Wine Society.

They sell wine by the glass and by the bottle in addition to branded apparel from the vineyard. Special events include wine release parties and holiday tastings paired with sweet and savory treats from local merchants.

Charron Vineyards

Just miles from downtown Tucson is one of southern Arizona’s oldest vineyards. Well-known for their White Merlot, this picturesque winery invites visitors to enjoy the panoramic view of the Santa Rita mountain range while sipping on a glass of wine and sampling the contents of one of their gourmet picnic baskets. Granite Creek Vineyards

This picturesque winery and vineyard in Chino Valley is considered to be one of the best sites for a wedding in Arizona, but its reputation as an exclusive venue doesn’t keep it from being a down-to-earth place for visitors to try their certified organic wines or have a bite to eat from their light lunch menu. Keeling Schaefer Vineyards Willcox Tasting Room

Arizona’s unique climate is similar to that of southern France where Rhône wine originated. Keel-ing Schaefer’s version of Rhône-inspired wine is produced and bottled on their estate in Willcox Wine Country and served in a historic bank building in downtown Willcox. Anyone (provided they are of legal drinking age, of course) can sample their wines in this unique building, but visits to the vineyard are reserved for club members and private groups. Page Springs Cellars is more than just a winery.
