Bookstores are an oasis of color, coffee, and community. Even though digital e-readers and online literature seem to be taking over the world, there is nothing better than holding a new book in your hands. From slick coffee table books to historical tomes and flighty fiction, bookstores are the place to find an escape without taking a flight. Not only a place to find books, book shops are also a valuable gathering space for the community to come together and enjoy meeting authors, booking signings, poetry readings, literary lectures, and a great cup of coffee.
