The small town of Claremont in New Hampshire may be little, but has quite a lengthy history associated with it. The Algonquin peoples first inhabited this part of New England, but they were largely displaced after the European settlers arrived. European settlement of the area happened in 1764 and many of the old Colonial-style structures of the era can still be seen around Claremont today. Green pastures and wooded forests make the area a rather picturesque one, but there are also several things to do in town, ranging from the performing arts to historical sites to tasty food.

The North Country Smokehouse uses natural, hand-selected ingredients in its products and has received several awards over the years, including “The Best Bacon in America” by Food and Wine, “New England’s Best Meat” by Yankee Magazine, and “America’s Top 10 Best Bacons” by Men’s Journal. North Country Smokehouse does not offer a retail location to shop products on-site but pick up orders for curbside delivery is available.
