Brooks Seaplane Service Tours
There are three types of flights at Brooks Sea Plane. The Lake Coeur d'Alene Loop Flight is a 40-mile, 20-minute flight covering the 25 miles along Lake Coeur d'Alene. McEuen Park
The McEuen Park is home to many excellent and exciting facilities, such as the city's largest playground and a colorful splash pad, as well as an off-leash dog park and basketball and tennis courts. Museum of North Idaho
The Museum of North Idaho is located just in front of the Coeur d'Alene's City Park. The museum library and offices are open by appointment all year round. This season's exhibit features Ties to the Past: an exhibition on the railroad history of the Coeur d'Alene Region, the development of the region’s railways as well as their impact on trade and local economy.
You can also visit the nearby Fort Sherman Chapel, available for weddings and small events. There is an onsite gift shop where you can purchase souvenirs and gifts.

North Idaho Centennial Trail
When visiting a place, it’s always good to learn about its history. The North Idaho Centennial Trail is a vehicle-free 24-mile trail connecting Higgens Point State Park on Lake Coeur d'Alene to the Idaho–Washington border.
The trail runs along Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Spokane River with a fantastic view of the local scenery. One can also access the Lewis & Clark State College and North Idaho College campuses through the trail as well as the back streets in Coeur d'Alene. There are lovely benches and rest points with breathtaking views, and you will not get lost as there are several signs along the trail.

Coeur d'Alene Parkway State Park
Every day the Coeur d’Alene Parkway State Park welcomes visitors from near and far to explore its beautiful nature and recreational spaces. Tubbs Hill spreads magnificently over 120 acres and is surrounded by Lake Coeur d'Alene on the western, southern and eastern sides. There are several beautiful miles of hiking trails on the hill that provide amazing scenic views.
Here you can find the trailhead on the west side of Tubbs in the southwestern corner of McEuen Park. Coeur d’Alene Carousel
The Coeur d’Alene Carousel is many things, but perhaps one of the best ways to describe it would be to call it a historical gem of the city. Originally built in New York in 1922, the carousel was originally called the Spillman Junior carousel and was created by the Herschell-Spillman Engineering Company. It was created for the use of a traveling carnival and featured 20 ponies in addition to 2 chariots. Eventually, the carousel found its permanent home on the Playland Pier of Coeur d’Alene where it amused and entertained thousands of guests from 19422 to 1974. After the pier’s amusement park was closed, the carousel disappeared into obscurity until it was rediscovered in Washington in 1986 and returned to Coeur d’Alene in 2010 thanks to the efforts of local history buffs and John and Pat Foote.
