Golden Chick

The story of the Golden Chick started during the 1960’s in central Texas when the idea for the establishment was thought of by a former chicken franchise employee who thought there must be a better way of running a franchise system. The result was delicious chicken made with a secret marinade and batter that grew Golden Fried Chicken to thirty-nine restaurants before being sold to an investment group that then expanded the business to more than 150 restaurants and established the Golden Chicken name. Needless to say, the Golden Chick is home to some of the best fried chicken around.
