East End Seaport Maritime Museum
The East End Seaport Maritime Museum is located along the historic waterfront of the Greenport Village and explores the East End of Long Island’s rich maritime heritage. The museum is home to a unique gift shop, Captain Bob's Quarterdeck, a number of dynamic exhibits, two Fresnel lenses, and a saltwater aquarium measuring 750 gallons in size. Several of the museum’s permanent exhibits show the tools used in the maritime trade, the unfolding history of Long Island’s East End, and the life of workers in the seaport. The Fresnel lenses exhibit is one of the most popular at the Seaport Maritime Museum.

Railroad Museum of Long Island
Established in 1990, the Railroad Museum of Long Island is committed to restoring, preserving, and interpreting the artifacts and history associated with the railroads that assisted with the growth of New York’s Long Island. The all-volunteer Railroad Museum provides an opportunity for visitors to “experience Long Island railroading” on Saturdays and Sunday between Memorial Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend. “The Yard,” which includes the Railroad Museum of Long Island, the turntable, the railroad dock, and the passenger station, is listed on both the New York Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places.

Congregation Tifereth Israel
The Congregation Tifereth Israel Synagogue in the charming village of Greenport, New York is a historic synagogue on Long Island. This irregular shaped structure consists of both the original part of the building when it was first built back in the year 1903, as well as a large building addition from 1920, and another one in 2000. In 2006, the Congregation Tifereth Israel Synagogue was added to the United States Register of Historic Places and visitors can call the number for the synagogue to schedule a time with the Rabbi to take a tour of the historic building.

Aldo's Coffee Company in Greenport Village has been baking scones and biscotti, in addition to roasting fresh coffee, since 1987. The European-style cafe today offers a friendly, quaint spot to grab a cup of coffee, do some work, or enjoy conversations with friends. Aldo’s coffees today are served in several shops and restaurants across the Hamptons and North Fork, as well as shipped to numerous loyal customers across the globe. Kontokosta Winery
Kontokosta Winery is situated on the bluffs of Greenport and overlooks the Long Island Sound, providing a great setting for visitors to try an array of handcrafted, award-winning wines. Owned and operated by the Kontokosta family, the over 60-acre waterfront farm is a wind-powered, sustainable operation that produces inviting, honest wines. While reservations are typically not required to visit Kontokosta Winery for wine tastings, they are encouraged, and the winery is generally open to the public seven days a week. Guests should note that outside food and pets are not permitted, as well as no vans, buses, or limos.

Crazy Beans Greenport is a 50’s-style diner and a popular eatery in the village of Greenport, New York, serving generous portions for breakfast and lunch, as well as espresso and cocktails. The first Crazy Beans location was opened in October of 2012 in Miller Place, New York by Callie Brennan. Having worked as a bartender and a waitress, she decided to combine everything she loved in one place, turning a dream of a coffee shop into reality. Brennan then went on to open a location in Stony Brook in 2014, followed by the Greenport location in 2016.

Camera Obscura
Camera Obscura in Greenport, New York is open to visitors weather permitting and by appointment on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The unique attraction features light entering the darkened room through a small opening. This results in a live picture being projected onto a screen. Located at Mitchell Park near the Marina in its own building, admission to the Camera Obscura of Long Island is by donation. There were once hundreds of camera obscuras in the world during the nineteenth century, but today, there are only around fifty. Only five of these still existing camera obscuras are located in the United States.
