The hamburger hut was originally established for the 1939 World Fair, and was moved to its current location in 1946. Their philosophy and style has remained unchanged and they have a strong following of fans who return time and again to buy what they consider to be the best burger in town. White Manna has featured on several foodie shows and also attracts out-of-towners who make a special trip to please their taste buds. Hackensack Riverkeeper Inc has a mission to defend the resources of the Public Trust of the region’s Hackensack River Watershed through litigation, education, advocacy, and environmental action. In addition to their conservation efforts, Hackensack Riverkeeper also offers a number of different programs for the public, such as Eco Cruises, nature walks, and guided bird walks through unique natural habitats.

Eco cruises take place aboard one of the organization’s 30-foot, specially rigged pontoon boats and typically last around 2.5 hours. These tours are designed to raise awareness of how the river is a vital recreational and natural resource.
