Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead Museum
The Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead Museum is dedicated to the rich agricultural heritage of Hunterdon County between the 18th and 20th centuries. Housed in a beautifully restored three-story bank barn, the museum documents the history of the agriculture industry in the county dating back to 1711 with exhibits and displays of farming equipment, tools, farm clothing, and the process of preparing and preserving food. The museum is set on a property that features other buildings such as a blacksmith shop, a post office, a general store, a carriage shed, and a printing shop. Jim's of Lambertville is a locally owned art gallery in the heart of Lambertville that showcases a variety of artworks from different genres, including American and European art from the 18th to 20th centuries, Pennsylvania Impressionist and Modernist works, and period antiques. James Marshall House Museum
The James Marshall House Museum is a house museum dedicated to the life of James Wilson Marshall, the man who discovered gold in California in 1848. Built in 1816, the Federal brick building features a brick kitchen, wide porches, period furniture, and several interesting architectural elements such as decorative Adams-style friezes, chimney cupboards, and a pegged front door. The museum also houses exhibits and photographs on Lambertville's history and is open to the public for free. New Hope-Lambertville Bridge
Walking across the New Hope – Lambertville Bridge, which connect New Hope PA with Lambertville NJ, is a popular activity for residents and visitors to the area. The bridge is quite unique for a number of reasons and taking a walk along the pedestrian walkway is a pleasant way to admire the river views and get some exercise. The current New Hope – Lambertville Bridge was built in 1904, to replace two earlier bridges which were washed away by flood waters. The bridge is said to be used by more pedestrians than any other bridge over the Delaware River and the unique cantilevered walkway can become quite congested with people making their way between the two riverside villages.

Lambertville Parks
The city of Lambertville is fortunate to have several city parks which provide much-needed green spaces where residents can exercise, play sport or just relax. The largest of these is Ely Field, which has various playing fields and a Learning Garden. Cavallo Park is another outdoor gem which is home to the largest children’s playground in the city. It also boasts an outdoor pavilion and fireplace and is often used for children’s birthday parties. The D&R Canal runs alongside the Delaware River where it offers a popular space for walking, running and cycling. Dry Run Creek Trail
Dry Run Creek Trail is an interesting and scenic walking/hiking trail which meanders along the course of the Dry Run Creek, skirting several historic farmlands along the way. The 1.2 mile trail (2.4 miles out and back) is considered moderate and most relatively fit walkers will complete it in around 60 minutes. Along the way you will pass three rustic bridges and a dam. The trail is also known to feature very attract wild flowers in spring. You are welcome to bring your dog provided it is on a leash. There is limited parking available on Route 518 and on Woodens Lane.
