The Mukilteo Lighthouse Park was created in the 1950s on a filled tideland in order to provide easy access to the beautiful sandy public beach.

• It started its life as Washington State Park until 2003 when it was deeded to the city.

Diamond Knot Brewery and Alehouse was established in 1994 by two Boeing employees. For the first four years they produced and distributed beer in the evenings after work, operating out of subleased space in a local alehouse.

• In 1999, they moved to a former bus garage and refurbished it. They kept many original elements including the main roll-up door, the thick wooden beams, and open plank ceiling, creating a rustic wharf-like atmosphere that fits perfectly with the nautical vibe of the waterfront where the brewery and alehouse are located.
• The brewery is said to produce some of the best beers in the region. Their flagship beer is the India Pale Ale.
• Diamond Knot is the first Mukilteo microbrewery. They have two locations where they serve their own as well as other regional beers and offer a full menu.

Located on a tiny plaza in downtown Mukilteo, Mukilteo Chocolate Company produces superb European-style, homemade truffles, chocolates, and fudge.

John's Grill is a family owned and run steakhouse opened in 2005 in Mukilteo's Old Town. Modern décor with bright red walls and beautiful large oil paintings on the walls create warm and inviting vibe. The menu is traditional American, with New York Steak starring, followed by Cajun-spiced grilled prawns in a lemon beurre blanc sauce, pork tenderloin medallion sautéed in vermouth, elephant garlic, capers and artichoke hearts, and pan-roasted garlic chicken. The owner and chef John Alden makes his own stocks and salad dressings. Their wine list offers wines from all over the world. There is also a full bar.
