Extended in 2007, it now runs a full 6 miles to Lewes Beach and Cape Henlopen State Park. There are natural coastal forests and wide open farm fields hidden behind the shopping centers of Route 1. The trail features an 80-foot long refurbished railroad bridge originally built in 1913. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and part of The Delaware History Trail, the Indian River Life-Saving Station is a historical destination in the Rehoboth area. Built in response to the large number of shipwrecks occurring in the late 1800s, it was used for night beach patrols and high seas rescues.

The station has been restored to its 1905 appearance and is open for self-guided or staff guided tours. It has been in its current location since 1877. Located on a picturesque white sand beach, the Station is also available to rent for special occasions.

The Jolly Trolley Fixed Route is a route between Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach that has been in operation since 1992. Besides daily routes, they also have specials on events like New Year’s Eve and are available for limousine and charter services.

They collaborate with local businesses and offer narrated tours that take you on a historical tour of Rehoboth Beach. During the peak summer season, trolleys arrive at their designated stops about 5 to 15 minutes on average. The trolleys run seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and their basic schedule has trolleys arriving at stops every 30 minutes.

The Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats is a well-known restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. It has been open since 1995 and is almost as old as the brewery itself.
