River Falls is a city in Pierce and St. Croix counties in Wisconsin. It is part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan área. River Falls is the home of the University of Wisconsin–River Falls. River Falls lies on the banks of the Kinnickinnic River, famous for its trout. The oldest theatre in town is Falls Theatre, opened in 1908 under the name Electric Theater Company.

Go for a stroll in Glen Park


Glen Park is a 40.58-acre active/passive mixed use community park located southwest of the River Falls, Wisconsin downtown district. The park was established in 1898 and is the City’s oldest park. It even had a zoo at one point. The popular Glen Park swimming pool celebrated 75 years of its service to the community in 2012. Some of the park’s main features are: the trails that connect the park to the White Pathway heading to the north, to the River Hills Park to the south and the Kinnickinnic River; a public swimming pool and splash pad; large trees, open area with grass, paths, and several kinds of recreational activities. Pedestrian access to the park is located at the Swinging Bridge to the northeast from Cascade Avenue, along Glen Park Road and Park Street. There are several off-street parking areas. The park’s shelter buildings can be reserved for private and public events.

Have fun with the whole family in the Kinnickinnic State Park


Scenically situated at the confluence of the St. Croix and Kinnickinnic rivers, the Kinnickinnic State Park provides a wonderful outdoor recreational facility. Visitors can have two totally different experiences in this park – you can choose to explore the quiet and peaceful Kinnickinnic Valley on foot along a network of hiking paths or get your adrenalin pumping with some thrilling water sports on the St. Croix River. Summer activities in the park include swimming, fishing, hiking and a variety of water sports including kayaking, canoeing and boating. In winter you can explore most of the trails on snow shoes, skates or skis.

Eagle Eye Farm


Eagle Eye Farm is an award-winning alpaca farm located just a short drive from River Falls. Here you can learn all about amazing alpacas and see how alpaca products are made. In addition to the comical alpacas, you will also get to meet some mini-Highland cattle Valais Blacknose Sheep, kune-kune pigs, llamas, and an assortment of other adorable animals.
