Bulloch Hall

Built back in the year 1839, Bulloch Hall was constructed by one of the first settlers of Roswell, Major James Stephens Bulloch, who was also the grandson of Archibald Bulloch, Georgia’s first Governor. Listed on the country’s National Register of Historic Places, this Greek Revival historic home is noted as one of the state’s most significant houses and is one of just a few examples of the true “temple-form architecture” in the South. The grounds of the historic Bulloch Hall today feature a nature trail, a demonstration garden, reconstructed slave quarters, and more than 140 trees designated on the Historic Tree Register.

Chattahoochee River

Visitors and locals alike can find outdoor fun along the Chattahoochee River< in Roswell, Georgia. Along with wildlife and great natural scenery, the seven-mile river stretch provides a variety of opportunities within the linear park for recreation, featuring spraygrounds, playgrounds, picnic areas, a riverwalk, water access, areas for fishing, boat ramps, and plenty of multipurpose trails. To access the Chattahoochee River, visitors can head over to the Riverside Park and Don Whie Memorial Park along Riverside Road, as well as the Azalea Park located on Azalea Drive. Barrington Hall

Barrington Hall was the home of Barrington King, the son of the founder of Roswell, Georgia, Roswell King. The house was strategically built overlooking the town from the area’s highest point. The historic home today is widely recognized as one of the nation’s finest examples of the Greek Revival architectural style and is noted as one of the “50 Most Beautiful Homes in Atlanta” as well.

The grounds surrounding Barrington Hall spans across seven acres and look very much like they did more than 150 years ago. Visitors can tour the house and the grounds and view artifacts of the King family.

Gate City Brewing Company

The Gate City Brewing Company opened in 2015 as the charming downtown area of Roswell’s first brewery. For the founders of the brewery, “community is everything” and they desired to create a place where neighbors could relax, which led to the creation of the Backhouse and Taproom.

The Taproom serves as many as twenty house brews available on draft, including exclusive taproom beers, and often hosts live music on the weekends and many community-based events throughout the year. Six-packs of beers can also be purchased in the Gate City Brewing Company Taproom. The Backhouse serves as an event venue.

Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room

First opening its doors in 2018, the Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room is a wine shop in historic Roswell, Georgia offering wines by the bottle, by the glass, and by the taste.

Providing a “California wine country experience,” this wine market in the city’s Plum Tree Village serves hand-selected wines from California that wouldn’t normally be available in local liquor stores or grocery stores. The Deep Roots Wine Market is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from noon until 7:00pm, on Fridays and Saturdays from noon until 8:00pm, and on Sundays from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.

Computer Museum of America

The Computer Museum of America in the historic city of Roswell is home to approximately 250,000 artifacts related to computers, including one of the world’s most significant Apple artifact collections and the largest CRAY supercomputer collection.

The museum focuses on the history of computer technology, how this technology has evolved over the years, and the impact it has had on people’s daily lives. Exhibits at the Computer Museum of America focus on the past and future of computers and include one of the world’s largest collections of supercomputers, the Tribute to Apollo 11, and a timeline of the history of computers.

Hugo's Oyster Bar

Hugo's Oyster Bar was opened by Rich Clark and Jonathan Schwenk in 2013 and features a menu that’s as ever-changing and seasonal as the catch of fresh seafood they serve. Dishes are prepared simply at Hugo’s in order to let the fresh ingredients shine.

Only seafood native to the water from the Mississippi Delta to the Outer Banks are served at Hugo’s Oyster Bar, with the exception of the exceptional oysters the Northeast is known for. Along with fresh fish and shellfish, the menu includes muffulettas and po’boys, steaks, Southern-inspired salads, and classic Cajun and Deep South desserts.

The Freakin Incan

Originally starting out as just a mobile kitchen, The Freakin Incan has been bringing the street food of Peru to the streets of the Atlanta area since 2014. Visitors and locals can stop by the unique eatery from noon until 8:00pm, seven days a week, to dine on fresh flavors and foods that are one-of-a-kind to Peru.

The menu at The Freakin Incan ranges from light and quick lunch options to hearty dinners, including seafood ceviches with bold citrus flavors, appetizers transporting taste buds all the way to Peru, and warming soups to fish, chicken, and fried steak.
