Visiting Holladay Distillery is a true trip into the past of distilling in the States. The distillery was founded in Weston, Missouri in 1856 by Ben Holladay and his brother, Major David Holladay, on land originally charted by Lewis and Clark in 1804. The Holladay brothers recognized that the limestone springs on the property were ideal for making bourbon. The stillhouse they used can still be seen in the distillery. Holladay Distillery changed ownership and names a few times but it is producing great bourbon again. Come and see the aging barrels stacked in the warehouse, a modern bottling facility where different distillery brands are bottled and labeled. You will also be able to taste, smell and enjoy real Missouri bourbon the way it used to be made 160 years ago.
