Branson is a popular tourist destination throughout the year that has four distinct seasons. Summertime is sunny and warm and can be very crowded because many schools take breaks at this time of the year.

But if you don’t mind the crowds and the lines, summer can be the best time to visit Branson - you can jump in the lake, jump in a swimming pool, or check out White Water, Branson’s wet wonderland. Fall is a beautiful time to visit Branson as the leaves begin to change colors. Winters are mild and many people visit at this time to experience “An Old Time Christmas.” Spring brings colorful blossom on dogwoods, redbuds, and wildflowers.

Branson Weather in January: It’s a cold winter for Branson in January with a bone-chilling average low temperature of 22°F (-6°C). The average high temperature is also quite frigid at 42°F (6°C) making this the coldest month of the year.

February remains rather cold despite the general increase in temperatures. The high temperature averages and low temperature averages measure in at 47°F (8°C) and 26°F (-3°C) respectively.

In March the average high temperature sees a nearly 10-degree increase to 56°F (13°C). Meanwhile, the average low temperature makes a significant jump to 34°F (1°C).

Branson Weather in April: Spring deepens in April and bring along with it mild but warmer temperatures. The average high temperature is 68°F (20°C) while the average low temperature is 45°F (7°C). It’s a great time of the year to go hiking thanks to the cool but manageable temperatures.

May sees high temperatures in the mid-70’s as the last month of spring. Low temperatures measure in at 54°F (12°C).

In June, summer makes a quick entrance alongside a rapid increase in high temperatures to 84°F (29°C). The low temperatures increase by nearly 10 degrees to 63°F (17°C).

Branson Weather in July: The hottest month of Branson’s year is July with the average high temperature peaking at a hot 89°F (32°C). The average low temperature increases to 67°F (19°C).

August is the second the hottest month of the year as the average high temperature decreases by just a single degree to 88°F (31°C). On the other hand, the average low temperature decreases by a couple of degrees to 65°F (19°C).

In September, the fall season arrives to Branson alongside a quick drop in the average high temperature to 80°F (27°C). The low temperature also decreases significantly to 58°F (14°C).

Branson Weather in October: The high temperature average and low temperature average ranges between 70°F (21°C) and 47°F (8°C) for the month of October. This month is also one of the greatest times of the year to soak up the beautiful fall foliage of Branson.

November marks the last month of fall in Branson with the average high temperature dropping quickly to 56°F (13°C). The average low temperature sinks by over 10 degrees to 35°F (2°C).

In December, the first month of winter, the high temperature measures in at chilly 45°F (7°C). The low temperature is even chillier at 26°F (-3°C). Trips to the lakes are fantastic during this time of the year.
