North Creek Park is a lovely county park in Mill Creek, located on former homestead property originally belonging to regional pioneers the Bailey family. The park is home to a unique floating interpretive boardwalk trail, which is divided into 150 individual sections and creates a one-of-a-kind ¾-mile water walking adventure. Trailgoers can view the rich diversity of a preserved wetland environment and glimpse a number of native and migratory bird species that frequent the park's lands. Day-use picnic shelters are also offered at the site, along with a children's playground area providing safe play experiences for young ones of all ages. Public amenities include accessible restrooms and ample parking.

Bothell Historical Museum preserves three historic buildings within the Park at Bothell Landing, which is located just south of Bothell's downtown district off State Route 522. Visitors can explore the gorgeous 1893 Hannan House, which is preserved as a living history museum and showcases gorgeous Queen Anne Victorian-style architecture. Museum exhibits are showcased on the house's first floor, including displays of artifacts such as a preserved Methodist church organ and signs and displays related to local pioneer-era businesses. The adjacent Beckstrom Cabin is also open to the public, along with a preserved one-room schoolhouse from the 19th century. All buildings are explorable for free Sunday afternoons between April and October.
