Hot drinks like coffee, tea, and chocolate have been popular for many generations and are still loved to this day. For millions of people all around the world, these beverages are an essential part of daily life, an integral cog in their own regular routines, and the very idea of actually having to go a day without that morning cup of coffee or cozy chocolate on a rainy night is almost unthinkable to so many of us.
And yet, despite our love for coffee, tea, and chocolate, we rarely spend any time thinking too deeply about how these drinks are made, how the baristas, coffee roasters, chocolatiers, and other passionate professionals involved in the production of these delicious and soothing beverages perform their daily duties to bring out those distinctive flavors and craft some of the finest hot drinks around. The Caffeine Crawl is changing all of this.
Caffeine Crawl - Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate Tours Across the United States
- Educational and Entertaining - Caffeine Crawl events are designed to be both educational and entertaining for all who attend. As you visit the various stops along your chosen route, you’ll be able to speak with the various baristas and professionals at each one, taking part in hands-on activities or admiring the pros as they perform presentations or demonstrations of their work. Effectively offering a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the daily ins and outs of tea, coffee, and chocolate preparation, these Caffeine Crawl tours can truly serve to expand and enhance your knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the fine work being done by craft and artisan drink-makers in your own community
- All Across America - No matter where you are, there should be a Caffeine Crawl event not too far from you. The first Caffeine Crawls took place back in 2012, but the idea has grown and evolved ever since, expanding all across the United States to incorporate many more cities. In 2018 alone, Caffeine Crawl ran tours in San Diego, Houston, Ann Arbor, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Oklahoma, and more, with plenty more tours planned for the years to come. In 2019, for example, Caffeine Crawl is set to operate in cities like Portland, Houton, St Louis, and San Diego.
- Unique Experiences Every Time - One wonderful aspect of the Caffeine Crawl experience that really draws people in and helps to make these events so memorable and enjoyable is the fact that no two crawls are ever quite the same. Each city, coffee shop, café, and business is different, meaning that every single Caffeine Crawl experience is totally unique. Typically, Caffeine Crawl host cities have around 10-30 locations selected for inclusion in the crawl, but attendees will usually only stop off at 5-6 of these locations on each route, so your own Caffeine Crawl day out might be totally different to the one enjoyed by your friend who chose to follow a different path.
- A Voyage of Discovery - Whether you live in a small or large city, there are probably plenty of cafés and similar businesses you’ve walked passed but never tried, and many more you might not even know exist. Inside these places, wonderful drinks are being made and great experiences are waiting to be had on a daily basis, and Caffeine Crawl gives you and your fellow tea, coffee, and chocolate lovers a chance to discover some of these locations and experience some of these amazing drinks firsthand. You might even find your new favorite hangout spot or forge some new friendships with the like-minded people you meet along the way.
