LEGOland Discovery Center, Atlanta
LEGOland Atlanta is the ultimate destination for a day of family fun and learning. Your adventure at LEGOland includes entrance to 12 separate themed play areas where your children will have loads of fun while learning. The areas include the LEGO 4-D cinema, the LEGO Factory Tour and the fabulous DUPLO Village, which is great fun for the younger children in your family. Older children will love the Build and Test attraction, where they can build and test their own high-speed LEGO vehicles on a dedicated test track. There are also a few fun rides including the Kingdom Quest and the Merlin’s Apprentice ride. Parents with younger children should try and visit on Tuesdays when there is reduced-price entrance and a special Toddler Time.

Georgia Mountain Coaster, Helen
The one-mile long Georgia Mountain Coaster offers great high-speed excitement for the whole family. After boarding you will set off on a thrilling alpine ride, straight down the side of a mountain. There are a fair number of twists and turns along the way to keep the ride exciting. Although the ride takes just 4 minutes, it offers all the fun and excitement of any amusement park coaster. If you are up for it, you can get a second ride for half price. The coaster reaches a top speed of around 26 mph, which may not seem very fast but just wait until you experience it, sitting just a few inches off the ground.
