Snowmobiling - Snowmobiling is one of the biggest draws of Jackson Hole. Guests can choose to either rent a side by side snowmobile and take off on their own, or taking a guided snowmobile tour through some of the beautiful Jackson Hole backcountry. No matter the experience level, there is a trail for everyone (which can include a tour guide, if desired, to give adventurers a little more information about the local plants, ecology, geology, and history).

Snowshoeing - Similar to cross country skiing is snowshoeing, guests can take off on their own or use one of the knowledgeable tour guides for a more immersive learning experience.

Sleigh Rides - Sleigh rides, drawn by horses, travel through elk herds at the National Elk Refuge from December through April with a Jackson Hole private contractor. What better winter adventure is there out there?

Winter bike tour - For the more adventurous guests, there are winter bike tours with one of the rentable fat bikes, either on a groomed self-guided trail or with a trail guide in the Grand Tetons or Elk Refuge.

Wildlife park tours - There are a few options for tours of the area with an emphasis on the local wildlife. From the Ecotour (rated one of the best tours in the world) to the scenic safaris, guests can head out and learn all about the moose, bison, bighorn sheep, and other animals that call the park home.

Paragliding - See the grounds from one of the most unique perspectives - from the sky! No experience is required to fly with one of the trained guides from Jackson Hole (there is, however, a weight requirement of 40 to 220 pounds and guests must be healthy enough to run). Tours take place every morning at 7:45am, 9:00am, and 10:00am. Come prepared with long pants, good shoes, and a sweatshirt. Reservations are strongly encouraged as these tours are very popular and book up quick.
