La Gondola Providence's first gondola is the "Cynthia Julia." This gondola is thought to be the first truly authentic Venetian gondola that has been constructed in America. It was constructed in 1996 in Massachusetts. The design of the gondola is from the nineteenth century, featuring over 250 feet of brass trim and hand-sculpted ornaments. The company's second gondola is the "Bella Donna," which was constructed in 2001 in Venice by Dei Rossi. The gondola was first sent to New Orleans, and was used to rescue people stranded during Hurricane Katrina. It was later sent to Providence in 2006. The "Bella Donna" also features more than 250 feet of brass trim, as well as hand-sculpted ornaments.

One of the possible trips visitors can choose to experience with La Gondola Providence is the Viaggio dei Sogni. This the company's basic forty-minute package, and is great for any occasion. The peaceful ride along the riverfront of Providence takes place aboard an authentic Venetian gondola rowed down the Woonasquatucket and Providence Rivers by an experienced gondolier. Visitors will pass under picturesque bridges, through public parks, and past historical landmarks.
Another forty-minute trip option is the Viaggio da Rapsodia. In addition to everything in the basic package, this trip is accompanied by a live musician. Just like with the Viaggio dei Sogni option, visitors will be rowed along the Woonasquatucket and Providence Rivers and past the same sights, however, with this option it will be while listening to a talented musician. La Gondola's trip package with the most luxury is the Viaggio della Dolce Vita. This option is for visitors who want the ultimate experience. Viaggio della Dolce Vita, a forty-minute long trip,includes a live musician, framed photo, chocolates, Bellini beverage, and keepsake wine glasses. It's the perfect choice for a special night out.
A unique trip aboard one of La Gondola Providence's Venetian gondolas is the company's WaterFire trip. This thirty-minute trip lets visitors experience the extraordinary and dreamlike event just a few feet away from the flames. The interesting union of water and fire, along with the evocative music, offers a memorable experience as a gondolier rows visitors along the rivers. The WaterFire installation was created by Barnaby Evans, and the full fire event takes place on Saturdays during fall, late spring, and summer. Those choosing this option are asked to arrive at least twenty minutes early so beverages can be prepared before the event.
