The Flower Fields is located at the Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, California. The fields are actually 50 acres of picturesque hills covered with Giant Tecolote Ranunculus that only blossom for six to eight weeks a year. Their blooming season lasts from early March through early May, heralding the arrival of spring in Southern California, and the Flower Fields have become a part of local heritage in Carlsbad. These seasonal flowers are juxtaposed by 3 acres of sweet peas, orchids, roses, and petunias overlooking the Pacific Ocean, which makes this field one of the most scenic places on Earth.
